From the beginning when Marco Errichiello (REA) visited our deceased Mum’s property we were given a sense of his optimism for the property to sell well and his awareness of the positives that the property presented with.
We received within 24 hours of his visit a detailed Market estimate and proposal on how the property would be presented by R&O. this contained a step by step plan for the coming campaign. Including fees, legal’s (Agency agreement etc), schedule for marketing, styling and furniture and a sample of their recent sales successes.
We took other quotes but would say that this proposal was ahead of the others in that it was so detailed and gave undertakings that were measureable and the fee was realistic in comparison to other providers.
The follow-through was exactly as had been proposed in that within ten days the styling had been done, the photos taken and advertising materials were prepared. The inspections were regular (twice weekly) and well documented. Reports were completed on each inspection and I spoke with Marco at least twice weekly around how the marketing was going.
I was quite anxious at the prospect of being a part of the Auction process, my brother, John, (living in QLD) who is half owner of the property was not able to attend. I was given good preparation prior to the day and reassured by Marco and the team that attended on the day. They were very positive and friendly and pretty much took charge. The auction went very smoothly and there were no tricky moments. We achieved above the price we expected to receive so I felt very lucky not to have to make hard decisions on the day.
We worked hard to present a property that was like new, clean and modern with nothing needing to be done, but move in and furnish. We were extremely grateful that Marco and the team at R&O acknowledged this, marketed and ultimately sold our Mother’s home for a price we were very happy with.
